Our Story
Dosie started with a simple, frustrating problem: medication management tools were built for someone else's life.
Not for working adults juggling careers, families, and chronic conditions on a schedule that does not leave room for error.
Founded in Birmingham, Alabama, Dosie set out to build something different: a platform that meets people where they actually are, not where a typical health app assumes they are.

Why We Started
Existing solutions treated medication adherence as a checkbox, a reminder, a chart, a device with no context for the person using it.
We believed working adults managing chronic conditions deserved a tool built specifically around their reality: busy schedules, real stakes, and no patience for anything that adds friction instead of removing it.

Dosie is proud to be built in Birmingham, Alabama, with support from Innovation Depot's Voltage Cohort, the Prosper HealthTech Accelerator, and the Bold Path Fellowship through ECMC Group.
Birmingham's startup and healthtech community has shaped how we build, and who we build for.

The Dosie app is live and available now, helping users track and stay consistent with their medications.
Behind the scenes, we are building the next two pieces of the platform: a smart dispensing device with AI-powered dose verification, and a provider dashboard that connects patients and care teams around real adherence data.

Where We Are Headed
This is just the beginning.
As we bring the full platform to life, our focus stays the same: make consistent medication management possible for the people juggling the most, without asking them to do more work to get there.
